In the world of 35mm film, the Latent Image is the invisible, raw truth captured on the strip before it is processed. At JAIDAKINS, we focus on the beauty of the undeveloped—the honest essence of a brand that exists before any artificial filters are applied.
As a homage to my heritage where rice or 'grains' are the staple of an everyday meal, we redefine what it means to "Embrace the Grain." In the same way that a single grain of rice is the fundamental unit of sustenance and life in our culture, the grain in a photograph is the fundamental unit of its soul.
